Chinese smartphone maker TECNO will launch the Phantom V Fold 5G in India on April 11. The company has announced that it will manufacture the foldable smartphone in India under the "Made in India" tag. Earlier last month, the Tecno Phantom V Fold was launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Tecno has listed the smartphone on its official website, detailing the design and specifications. This is TECNO's first foldable smartphone, which has MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus processor installed on 4nm manufacturing. It's a 5G-ready chipset that competes with Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC.

This foldable smartphone runs on HiOS foldable version with Android 13 operating system. The company said that it will be available for early bird sale from April 12, the day after the launch, at a special price of Rs 77,777. This offer is valid for a limited time only. The company has not yet revealed the price at which the smartphone will be sold later.

Display: The Phantom V Fold 5G features a 6.42-inch curved screen. The main screen of the phone is 7.85 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a resolution of 2k + 2,296 x 2000 pixels.

Battery + Variant: The smartphone comes in 256GB and 512GB storage variants with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Additionally, a 5,000mAh battery is provided with support for 45W fast charging. The company claims that it will charge 40% after 15 minutes of charging and 100% after 55 minutes of charging.
