It has been revealed that the new crash detection feature is currently inactive and has not even been made part of the latest OneUI build. According to reports, this feature was first mentioned in Samsung's older software OneUI 5.1.1.
A hidden app system called MocaMobile was found in the Galaxy S24 series and Samsung's foldable smartphones, whose code includes references to virtual sensor start and stop for car crash detection. Although the new feature was not made part of the UI, the company was working on it for quite some time. Eventually, it could be made part of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. After this, this feature is likely to be included in other devices as well. The company has since integrated the Galaxy AI features that were part of the Galaxy S24 series into other devices and previous flagship models as well. Apple has been introducing the crash detection feature since 2022 after the iPhone 14 series.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has a thickness of 8.2 mm and weighs 219 grams. It has a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a resolution of 1800 x 3440 pixels and 566 ppi. Always-on Display, HDR10 +, curved display and 144Hz refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus make it more special. Its punch hole display gives a modern experience.
Talking about performance, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 chipset and Octa Core processor. It is based on Android 15 and comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB inbuilt memory. However, it does not have memory card support.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth v5.3, WiFi and USB-C v3.2 with 4G, 5G, VoLTE and Vo5G support. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Talking about the battery, it comes with a large 5000 mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging, 25W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
